Carr Lane Buys PX Tool | Manufacturing Engineering | advancedmanufacturing.org

Carr Lane Manufacturing, a St. Louis-based tooling company, is acquiring PX Tool Co., a Madison Heights, Mich.-based maker of jig, fixture and robotic hardware.

The acquisition is effective June 1, Carr Lane said in a release. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

The company said integrating PX Tool Company’s product line, known as Peerless Tooling Components, complements Carr Lane’s product portfolio as a tooling component supplier while also expanding its product range and customer base.

Peerless Tooling Components products are used to manufacture agricultural and construction equipment.

“We are thrilled to welcome PX Tool Company and the Peerless Tooling Component products, to the Carr Lane product line,” Carr Lane Manufacturing CEO Colin Frost said in the release. “This acquisition aligns with our vision of expanding our product offerings and reinforcing our commitment to quality and innovation. PX Tool's legacy of excellence and customer satisfaction makes it a perfect fit for Carr Lane.”
